Here are some of the municipal and private projects that have been completed over the past few years. Residential installations are coming soon….
The municipality of Coaticook wanted to heat the municipal pool in order to increase the number of people using it. The result was very conclusive with a very strong increase in customers, especially at the end of the day and in the evening. In addition, the day camps were able to take full advantage of it!
4 Thermeau commercial heat pumps of 200,000 BTUs each were installed in order to complete this beautiful project.
The installation of 2 Thermeau P140 (2 x 140,000 BTUs) allowed us to replace the old, outdated heat pump and thus extend the season.
The municipality of Richelieu, following the example of Richmond in the Eastern Townships, went ahead with the project of heating the municipal pool in order to offer more swimming and aquafitness classes and to increase the number of registrations.
Following my recommendations, they chose to install 4 Nirvana Trydent E140 heat pumps of 140,000 BTUs, for a total of 560,000 BTUs.
L’installation de 2 Nirvana E140 (2 x 140 000 btu)permettra à ce complexe de profiter pleinement de leur piscine tout au long de la saison, à un coût beaucoup moins élevé que l’ancien chauffe eau au propane.
In the fall of 2008, the small municipality of Richmond, in the Eastern Townships, went ahead with a project that had been on the drawing board for a few years: heating the semi-olympic size municipal pool.
After analyzing different options and following my recommendations, they chose to install 5 Nirvana M40 heat pumps for a total of 550,000 true BTUs.
The installation and start-up were done in June 2009 and allowed this municipality to offer more swimming and aquafitness classes without having to worry about water temperature variations.
